Floyd Edwin Johnson, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather left us on April 16, 2013 in his 80th year. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and after attending Yale university he served in the army during the Korean War.
With a taste for travel, his career took him, with his family in tow, to Guntersville, Al, (NASA), Schnectady, (GE). Brussels, Belgium (Am. Standard) Andover, MA and London, England (Honeywell/Bull). He finally settled in Phoenix in 1975.
He received his master's degree in International Management from Thunderbird in 1981. After 35 years in the computer business, he operated a used and rare book store in Peoria, 'The Book Pedlar', until he retired in 2002. He was a career scholar and in his retirement, continued to study, research and write a book about the Palestine/ Israel problem. Peace and freedom was a continuing theme in his life and work. He described himself as a Depression- born unreconstructed FDR-Democrat, occasional columnist and agitator.

1 Entry

So sorry to read about your loss. God cares so deeply about us that he has gone to great lengths to make the fulfillment of his purpose a certainty. (John 3:16). One of his promises is no more death. Another of his promises is that those in his memory will be brought back to life. May these facts bring you some comfort.
