Uncle Eddie, I shall miss your voice, that always sounded so much younger than your years, you answered my questions on golf and about the family in "olden days", for awhile I called you every two weeks after you lost Eloise, your lifemate, and she was not only my aunt, but a dear friend who searched with me in our quest for family ancestors. You also tried to hurry me off the phone, "said it cost too much money", but then I finally got free calling and we talked longer.
I always called you during the commercial so as not to interrupt your game.
You outlasted the family members and you hung in there to the last a "great trouper". You will always be remembered
by so many and down thru the future generations. Love you dearly your niece

Pops,
As I told you when you were leaving this world, "Pops you had a Great Ride!" You raised a couple of good kids, (humor, there are three of us, you may chose any two, he knew what I meant!) and many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Greats, that you and Mom got to enjoy and spoil for so many years! A man could not ask for any more than that.
You enjoyed a wonderful, gloriously filled 91 years and almost 65 years with the Gal you loved! Those memories will be cherished by all of us! Say hello to Mom!
Love, Craig

Grandpa,
I know you are with ones that you love! You have front row seats at all your sporting events and I'm sure you are enjoying your beer! Miss your smiley voice!

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
