Phyllis Jane Carman of Sun City West, AZ, passed away peacefully at home on February 5, 2013, after suffering a stroke at the age of 89 years. She was the wife of the late Robert B. Carman and mother of five.
The Guest Book is expired.
You might remember Phyllis because she sold you your house. She was one of those people who always had a smile and a comment for you and oh, "by the way would you like to list your house any time soon?" In love with the real estate business, she became a pioneer in the field at 42 years of age eventually owning her own brokerage, earning the honor of being a Million Dollar Sales person more than once, and selling her last house at 85 years of age.
She is survived by her children: Alicia Goodman, Allison Carman, Lindsay Eymann, Tim Carman, and Pamela Cullen; along with eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Audrey Kotenberg.
Her ashes were put to rest with her husband on February 20, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please donate to the The Hazel K. Goddess Fund for Stroke Research in Women. http://www.thegoddessfund.org/donations.html
