Ruth Louise (Beck) Richmond, passed away peacefully at Hospice of the Valley on April 19, 2012.

Born June 2, 1990 in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Ruth and George Beck. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Donald Richmond, as well as brothers Ted and Wilber Beck.
She attended Denver University and Phoenix College. She was a member of the A.B. Marcus Show, an international Musical Theatre Production for three years as a show girl, actress and dancer performing in major theatres throughout the United States, Canada and Cuba. She also performed in the Palace of Fine Arts theatre in Mexico City, Mexico.
She was a member of the Washburn Faculty Wives organization in Topeka, Kansas. She was also a member of the Civil Air Patrol in Kansas City. She was employed by the Great Western Sugar Company in Denver, Colorado and later worked for the law firm of Lewis and Roca in Phoenix.
She and her husband lived in Honolulu, Hawaii for ten years where she sold real estate, moving back to Phoenix in 1972. She held memberships in many organizations including National Association of Retired People. She attended the Episcopal Church of St. Charles, Missouri.
She is survived by brother, Donald Beck of Columbus, Ohio; sisters: Norma Jean Holley of Michigan, Dorothy Peters of Columbus, Ohio; as well as many nieces and nephews. Private burial will be at Sunland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arizona Humane Society of Sun City.
