Steven Campbell Moorhouse, 66, of Peoria, Arizona, left us Friday, May 17, 2013 with his family by his side in Phoenix, Arizona. Steven was born on April 23, 1947 in Wichita, Kansas. The son of Ernest Campbell and M. Lucile Wittmeyer Moorhouse.

He attended Wichita and North Kansas City schools graduating from North Kansas City High School in Missouri. He graduated from Park College, Kansas City, Missouri where he met his wife Mary Jo. Steven graduated with a B.A. degree in mathematics in 1967.
Steven and Mary Jo were married on June 1, 1968 in Wyandotte, Michigan. He is survived by Mary Jo.
Steven was deployed overseas in Germany and received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army in 1971.
Steven and Mary Jo moved to Arizona in 1978.
Steven spent the early part of his career in Computer Software sales. After retiring from the software business he joined Mary Jo in Real Estate sales in 2002.
Steven had a wide variety of interests including; airplanes, trains, cars, reading, cooking, golfing, hot air ballooning, video games and playing board games like Catan. One of his greatest joys was his grandchildren. Steven was a remarkable grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and M. Lucile Moorhouse and by his sister Kathleen Blanka.
In addition to his wife, Mary Jo Moorhouse, he is survived by a daughter, Cara Brandon and her husband Kevin; a son J. Campbell Moorhouse and his wife Jenny; grandchildren Makayla and Zachary Brandon and Richard Moorhouse; a brother Robert Moorhouse, all living in the metropolitan Phoenix area; a brother-in-law Don Blanka, Wamego, Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
