Christopher PAVLIK Obituary
Mr. Pavlik was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and was the son of the late Michael and Rose Prenzlow Pavlik. A US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, for many years he had been employed as an insurance agent. An avid fisherman, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time with his friends.
Surviving are his daughter, Leslie Kay Cox and husband, Danny of Smithfield, Va.; two sisters, Pam Sloat and husband, Bill of Brooklyn Heights, Ohio, and Paula Sinarski and husband, Johnnie of Sagamore Hills, Ohio; a brother, Michael Pavlik and wife, Laurie of Brooklyn Heights; a half-sister, Donna Gallitz and husband, Bill of Ohio; a half-brother, Dale Klanchnik of Ohio; nieces and nephews, Coleen, Kirk, Amy, Trevor, Olivia, Gena, Michael, Alley, Jared, Tana, Chris and Missy; and his canine companion, Sweetie.
A celebration of his life service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, by the Rev. Gene Asbill. Friends may join the family in the funeral home immediately following the service on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
