Aylwin PERKINS Obituary
He was an Air Force Pilot during the Vietnam War, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross. He enjoyed motorcycling and loved his dogs.
Maj. Perkins is survived by his three sons, Aylwin "Buddy" Perkins III, Mike Perkins and David Perkins; two daughters, Charlene "Missy" Goodson and Cathy Perkins Williams; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nieces; and two nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, immediately followed by a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Milford C. Rollins. Air Force honors will follow. Burial will be private at a later date. Online condolences to www.claytorrollins.com .

Missy, David, Mike, and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Mr. Al will really be missed by our family including our 2 dogs. He was a great neighbor and always so thoughtful. He enjoyed giving the dogs a biscuit, he would put coupons and magazines for me to read in my herons mouth by the steps, bring my girls the newest flavor of microwave popcorn to try and always talk with Mark about man stuff.
