Aunt Margaret was always there for my sister and I, whether it was a kind word or just lunch. I always knew I could stop by her shop to say hi and find a kind word and a great smile waiting for me. I'll miss you Aunt Margaret.

Dearest Bruce and family,
It's very hard to say good bye to the young tall girl with all that beautiful long brown hair that walked past our home on Huntington Avenue on her way to 53rd Stret. She was the younger sister of my friend Barbara and the sister of Jay's friend Leburn. With a house full of cousins across the street, we were delighted to have so many new friends in the neighborhood as well as Noland Methodist Church. Life was so simple back then. All of us going to the same schools and enjoying life. Now, we are scattered in many different states but the bond of that early friendship never broken. Margaret has won another race, and beat us home. I'm sure she has been rejoined with loved ones and friends from long ago. Until we are joined together again, I pray the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ will surround you all during this time of sorrow. Bruce, please know we share your grief. We know you are special, because Margaret said so.

Margaret was such a kind person. She conceived of a beautiful flower arrangement for my Grandmother that incorporated driftwood and a fishnet. I knew Margaret through her love for her pets. Her compassion and care for her pets as well as her family was always evident. I will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

My daughter had died the day before and when we went to the florist, Margaret was closing (Sat. 10/30/10. I asked her to come to the door and told her our need. She invited us in and she and my granddaughter(12) did the flowers for the casket spray. Later that evening I remembered we had not picked our an arrangement from us. She was so nice and even called back with a wonderful suggestion. We enjoyed visiting with her and getting to know her. I was shocked when I read her obiturary in the paper. I know she is in heaven with my daughter. She had such a sweet sweet spirit.

Margaret was a wonderful sister-in-law! She always made me feel comfortable at family gatherings, especially those first few years. She adored my children as if they were her own. She loved me enough to trust me to care for Amy and Emily when they were young. What a privilege! Margaret always made sure I was included in the fun/important stuff of their lives. We spent many an hour on the phone discussing teachers, the experience to find just the right dress, curfews, and of course the lucky men that were dating her daughters. Bruce was always willing to provide family gatherings at his house or pitch in at our house. Margaret was the one who would decide when it was time to leave. Thanks, Bruce, for those hours of togetherness! I could always count on Margaret to drop everything and attend to an urgent need for me. She was like the line in the song that says she would drop everything, get in her car, and not ask what as in it me. My life was blessed because I married into this family. Margaret, Bruce, Amy, and Emily have made this family wonderful and special. I love each of you!
