Miriam BUNTING Obituary
She was a registered nurse her entire life; a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church; and a member of the D.A.R., Charles Parish Chapter. She was an avid traveler, and was a member of FMCA and PAB R.V. clubs. She loved doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
Mrs. Bunting was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Joseph R. Moore; sister, Nannie Freeman; and brother, Joseph Moore.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, William E. Bunting; three daughters, Juliette Mitchell (Alan), Nancy Chitwood (Robert), and Andrea Jane Bunting Mann; a son, William Joseph Bunting; and nephew, Delma Freeman Jr. (Diana).
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Smith Memorial Cemetery, Poquoson, by the Rev. Milford C. Rollins. At other times the family will be at 115 Charles Parish Drive, Poquoson.
Memorial contributions may be made to Smith Memorial Cemetery, c/o Carroll Ann Martin, 46 Little Florida Road; or to Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 831 Poquoson Ave., both in Poquoson, VA 23662. Online condolences to www.claytorrollins.com

I will always remember Miriam as a person who didn't let a hurricane stop her from coming to work, where she spent her 70th birthday doing what she loved - caring for others.
All of us at Riverside Rehab will miss her greatly.

I want to offer my condolences to Miriam's family. I had the pleasure of working with Miriam at Riverside Rehabilitation Institute for over 15 years. We always talked about RVing as I also used to have a motor home. Her energy and kindness will be remembered.
