Hammett Family,
On behalf of Linbrook House, I am extending sorrowful condolences to all of you on the loss of Dixie. Though short in stature, Dixie's personality was long in wit, humor, and feistiness. The void resulting from her death will be felt for a very long time. It was our pleasure to have been given the opportunity to provide supports to Dixie for so many years and to be witnesses to Mr. Hammett's unfailing love, devotion, and commitment to his sister.

Bill and Cathy please accept the sympathies of all the volunteers of Post 140 now that Dixie has gone to be with God our Father. We have fond memories of her as we really enjoyed her snappy personality at our sock hops and at bowling. A few years ago I bowled her on lanes 3&4 when she was coming a lot and we had a great time teasing, laughing and bowling. We know you will miss her as will her house-mates. She is one of God's angels now. We will all pray for you as you go through this difficult time.
