Helen BOOTH Obituary

COLUMBIA - Helen Simmons Booth, 78, passed away on Dec. 23, 2010, with her family by her side. Born in Rock Run, Ala., she was the daughter of the late John F. Simmons and Jewel W. Simmons.
Ms. Booth was retired from Fort Jackson, S.C., where she worked as a civilian employee for the U.S. Army for 42 years.
She is survived by her brother, Bobby F. Simmons; a daughter, Tami B.(Tad) Reed; daughter-in-law, Kay Lloyd; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas L. Booth and a son, Gary M. Lloyd.
Graveside services will be in Williamsburg, Va. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association in Helen's memory. A graveside service was held Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at Williamsburg Memorial Park. Online condolences may be registered at www.bucktroutfuneralhome.net.
