I want family to know that we all miss Shamika, and that for me there are moments when I remember her preaching and testifying on how good God was to her and all she endured. She will be and still is missed. Praying for continue comfort because I know with loss it takes time and you never forget your loved one especially a child. Be blessed

Wow I'm at a lost of words. I just recvd the news today. As I sit stunned I remember the many great days of our youth at The Holy Church of Deliverance ....So many great memories. You brought so much joy to this earth with your bright spirit and smile! Your knowledge and love for God's word was beyond measure and I know you're resting in paradise with The King! When I think of Shamika, I think of Sundays at Sweet Haven where the praises of God would be going up and I could hear her Giving God the Glory in a way, where you didn't have to see her, but you knew it was Shamika! Our prayers are with the Walton Family during this time. May you all find comfort in knowing that she is with Christ whom she exemplified with pride.

Though I only worked with Shameka for a short time at Casey, her sense of humor was contagious, her stories hilarious. We shared an over flowing love for our Lord. Heaven truly gained another angel. Take your rest Shamika.

I hadn't seen Shamika since Menchville days, but she was a very pleasant person and always had a smile no matter what. I was shocked when I read of her passing, but smile having known her. May God continue to strengthen your family during these times.

She She I am truly going to miss you! It's still hard to believe that you are no longer with us. We have known each other since high school (Menchville). I have always loved your sense of humor and your smile. You loved your parents and your dog Rocky dearly. I am going to miss the conversations and the laughs that we had and I am truly going to miss you teaching Evangelism class and worshiping with you.
