TO THE FAMILY,
IT IS A GREAT HONOR AND A PLEASURE TO HAVE KNOWN SUCH A SWEET AND LOVING LITTLE BOY. EVEN THOUGH I ONLY KNEW JOHATHAN FOR 3 MONTH (JAN-MARCH)2010 WHEN I WAS HIS SUB DRIVER IT SEEMED AS THOUGH I KNEW HIM FOR A LIFETIME. BLUE EYES OR BEEP-BEEP WAS WHAT I CALLED HIM. I LOOKED FORWARD TO PICKING HIM UP ON THE BUS EVERY MORNING, JUST TO SEE THAT BEAUTIFUL SMILE. EVERY MORNING WHEN WE ARRIVED AT THE SCHOOL JONATHAN WOULD SAY "DO I HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL" AND I WOULD TELL HIM YES BLUE EYES, HE WOULD SMILE GIVE ME A HIGH FIVE AND OFF THE BUS HE WOULD GO. I WILL MISS THAT BECAUSE HE BRIGHTENED MY DAY. JONATHAN MADE A MAJOR AND POSITIVE IMPACT IN SO MANY PEOPLES LIVES AND HE WILL NEVER EVER BE FORGOTTEN.IF THERE IS EVER ANYTHING THAT I CAN DO PLEASE LET ME KNOW ANYTIME DAY OR NIGHT I WILL BE THERE!
SINCERLY,
KELLY JONES

Mr & Mrs. Jason Dillard and Family...
It has been a pleasure to know you all. I am deeply sadden, yet I find comfort in knowing that he is happy, and he is resting in the arms of God. Jonathan made me laugh daily, his smile along with his sense of humor; made him a joy to have on my route. As a U.S. Army (Aviation) Veteran myself, I appreciated his father service, and the way he interacted with Jonathan. His signature line for Jon: "Don't be kissing on the girls!" I would leave the stop, Jon smiling from ear to ear, and I knew then; Jon would have a great day at school.
Each child makes an impression on the bus driver, Jon made his mark with me...

I will continue to treasure his memory, the opportunity he afforded to me to be a better and more compassionate driver.
