Lucille LIPFORD Obituary
She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Shirley Lois Williams of Smithfield, N.C., and Ruth Hines of Charlotte, N.C.; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Brown of Newport News, Va.; three grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, a niece, a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at United House of Prayer, 626- 48th Street, Newport News. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home and two hours prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Our sympathy and condolences go out to your family on your loss. We got to know Lucille when our mother Ruth Smeland moved in with her at the Gardens at Warwick Forest. She was kind and patient with our mother and we will miss seeing her on our visits. She will be missed!

Iam shocked to hear of this great loss. May God add comfort to you.We knew Lucille well. The name of the place we lived was known as Piggott Town. Later years we moved to Centerville.During this difficult time may the comfort of Gods loving arms carry you through the quiet moments and bring you peace.WITH DEEPEST SYMPATH.
