Mary BURCH Obituary
In 1939 Georganna moved to Newport News. On Dec. 5, 1949, she married Charles Burch. From that union, they had one son Charles "CB" Burch. "George," as she was affectionately known, was a resident of Hampton for more than 50 years. She was a faithful and proud member of New Grafton Baptist Church.
Georganna leaves to mourn her passing her son, Charles "CB" Burch (Audrey); stepdaughter, Ann Whitaker (William); son-in-law, Warren Cary; granddaughters, Genola Burch, Wanda Lea and Nichole Williams; grandson, Fredrick Williams; seven great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
"Praise God, Georganna will cry no more." The Lord decides when it is time and He has made His decision; Amen and Amen.
Funeral service will be held 10a.m. Friday, June 4, at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, Va. Viewing will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
