I am so sorry to read here of Will's death. He was first cousin to my father, Paul Thrasher (1920- 2002), who was the son of Penelope (Nell) Catherine Sipe Thrasher. Will, James, and their cousin Robert were the closest my father had to brothers, and he spoke of them often. I remember Lisa when we were both little girls, and was sad to hear of her death years ago.
I came online looking for an address so that I could tell Will that my mother, Vesta Cassedy Thrasher, died, just a few weeks after Will, on January 23 of this year, at home in Bethesda MD, with me at her bedside.
We are second cousins -- please feel free to contact me here or on Facebook, where my brothers Paul and Larry also have pages.
I am so sorry for your loss.

I extend my heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the family and friends of Dr. William H. Sipe. Will, you were a gentleman and a scholar. Our children attended Hidenwood Elementary School. Two of the girls loved horses. You were a friend both professionally and personally. My Blessings to you all with much respect and love,

Dear Hedley~~, Hank, and Charles,
I was so sorry to hear of your father's death. I will always remember him with great fondness. He was so good to put up with me on many football weekends while I was at UVA. He lived a grand life and he has left behind a beautiful legacy, especially the wonderful family he has left to miss him. I'll be thinking of all of you. Love-Megan

My sincere condolences to Dr. Sipes family. I worked with Dr. Sipe in the Urology Dept at UVA and was very fortunate to be on the receiving end of much of his knowledge. He not only was a teacher to me, but gave me advice and pointers on parenting and never failed to inquire about my son. He was a wonderful person and I'm so saddened to hear of his passing.

My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Dr. Sipe many years ago when he volunteered seeing patients at a free outpatient clinic in Newport News. He helped many people and they were grateful for his service. I hope your heavy hearts lighten soon.
