She was preceded in death by her husband, W.S. Brown Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Valerie D. Kenney; sister, Aline Jones; brother, Maynard L. Daulton; one grandchild, Shannon R. Wanamaker; two great-grandchildren, Kyle R. Nierman and Katie D. Wanamaker, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Peninsula Funeral Home.
