We will miss Ronnie in Happy Class at Liberty Baptist Church. Although he was not with us every week, his music lifted our spirits.

I always appreciated Ronnie's willingnesss to sing a solo at Bethany Gospel chapel. I also appreciated how he made my young son feel so important. Mark, now a missionary in Prague, Czech Republic, still remembers Ronnie with great fondness.

Ronnie had this wonderful ability to quote verbatim the Meteorologist Joe Folkes and he even had Joe Folkes voice down pat. I remember Ronnie singing in the Men's Choir at Newport News High School and like everyone else I remembered his smile along with his Height because he was a tall man not only in Height but in Stature. May his memory always be for a Blessing and may we honor his memory by singing and smiling, two traits that he brought to all of us and have taken with him to Heaven I am sure. Ed Olshansky

Ronnie lived up the street and around the corner from us here in Hidenwood. You could usually hear him coming up the street on his bicycle ~ he was either singing or he had his radio turned up loud so he could enjoy the music. He always had a smile for you, maybe a story or two....and his presence was noticeably missed after his departure from the neighborhood. Rest easy my friend and sing....sing....sing....

Glenn and family,
I was so shorry to read about the passing of Ronnie. When I came to visit Audry and my Dad, he would always smile and say hi to me when I would see him on his bicycle. My heart is heavy for the loss an may God be with everyone in this sad time.

I worked with Ronnie at the Seniors program. I only new him for a short time, but in that time I learned he was an amazing person. His voice and smile would light up a room and his loving and caring spirit will be missed by many people.

Glenn, I am sorry for your loss. After many years away from the area, I met up with Ronnie at the ARC workshop about ten years ago and we talked about growing up in Stuart Gardens and he always said he would pass along my best wishes to you and your mother. It was so nice seeing him again and hearing so many nice things about him from the other workers there.

Ronnie and I went to NNHS together. He was always happy and had a smile on his face. I remember watching him arrive at NNHS each schoolday, emerging from that little Nash Rambler. I wondered how such a tall guy got into asuch a small car.
