What a wonderful life she lived- back when Moms could spend time with their children and their church and volunteering. How fortunate for you Susie and your siblings to have such a nuturing role model and dedicated Mother. I wish you well in celebrating her life and keeping her in your hearts always. Though her physical presence be gone her spirit lives forever in all of you. God Bless

David, Betsy, Amy and Sarah, so sorry about your loss. I know how close your family is and pray that will comfort you at this time. You and your family are in my prayers. While I didn't know Mrs. Peters, I believe that she instilled a strong sense of fun, faith and family that you all carry with you. God's peace be with you.

Dee and Dave Stone had a long friendship from the days Sarah worked as my Dad's secretary at NASA, then known as NACA. Mom and Sarah were in Home Demonstration Club together. I was in Girl Scouts with Ginny.
Sarah was a fun person with many talents. She was always fun to visit when my daughter, Alexandra, and I came up from Florida to Warwick Forest Retirement Community to spend time with Mom.
On Mother's Day, Sarah smiled and waved to me across the dining room. When Mom took us to Sarah's apartment for a few minutes visit we realized Sarah's time was coming closer. We gave Sarah a hug.
Sarah was a Christian who was blessed to have a good life with her love, Roger, and children that have been loving and wonderful to her.
My mother has lost a dear friend we will remember fondly.

I can not say so elegantly as Paul said to the Ephesians:
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

To Sarah's family - You have our heartfelt sympathy in the passing of your dear one. Sorry to say that it has been sometime since I saw her but was such a great person knowing her through Church and even at my work at Pediatric office. Had visited her a couple times when she was living in cottage at WF.

Peters family - I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Peters. I have so many fond memories of her while growing up across the street. So many days she would keep a watchful eye over us kids as we played at your house. She was always so willing to give of her time. When Allison or I were sick at school and our parents were not available to pick us up, your mom would always come to get us. She was a wonderful and talented lady and you all are blessed by having her in your lives. My thoughts are with you all.

Susie - I'm shocked and saddened to learn of your Mother's death. I'm so very glad that I saw both of you on Mother's Day, and I know that you are especially glad now to have spent that weekend with her. Please know that I am thinking of you, as saying 'so long' to a loving Mother cannot be easy.
