Our family has released another great historian of the family, back into heaven with our Savior Jesus Christ. We must continue to pass the strength, the peace, and the richness of our family "The Bingham's" to the generations still here and those to come as she and so many others have thought. Joyce will be missed but never forgotten. Rest now my sister and I will see you again. With love, your Cousin Wilma

I am a better person today because of Mrs. Hoffman. She taught us tolerance and how to get along no matter what our physical differences might have been. She made learning in the 6th grade so much fun with her Ziggy dolls. It was a huge accomplishment to be the student she chose to take one of the beloved dolls home on Fridays for the weekend!! She was an amazing lady and I am truly grateful that I had the opportunity to learn from her.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of Mrs. Hoffman. To me, she was an angel sent from God. She help me advance from a slow learner (bottom of my class) to one of the top students in my grade, and I was able to graduate from The College of William & Mary. She was the first teacher to believe in me, and the first teacher to take her extra time and preparation to help me. I am FOREVER grateful to God for putting Mrs. Hoffman in my life. She made me smile. She was lots of fun and truly wonderful. I loved her!!!

To the Hoffman family. Since my son is not here and in Germany he would really want me to send prayers. She was a great challenge for Anthony. Taught him so much. I think that was the last year he poked around doing school work since he always had to bring it home. I think he was in her class about 1993. Thank you for teaching my son good habits.

The Hoffman family,
I am so sorry for the lost of such an awesome woman who touched so many lives here on earth. She was not my teacher but I attended school with her daughter and neice that were awesome girls also. I remember her from the little country store in PlainView where I worked in the early 70's and she would buy food all month and would always come in on the 1st of the month to pay back then I think they got paid once a month, she was always so kind, pleasant and had a smile on her face. I pray for Peace ,Love & comfort to come to each one of her love ones and hold on to all the great memories and one day you will join her in Heaven. Love & God Bless

What a wonderful person that will be missed...She was also an amazing teacher! The first day of 6th grade, I was supposed to ride a bus from TC Walker (I was the last 6th grade class there) to Petsworth (where my mom was working at the time)...we had a note for me to ride one of the buses that ended up going to do a Petsworth run after (for me to meet up with my mom)...the driver refused it the first day and I was devastated...I remember being in the office and Ms. Hoffman (one of my teachers - her and Mr. Pirkle were a great team) came by and saw me very upset. She got permission to personally drive me to Petsworth to meet my mom...such a wonderful woman!!!

I was a student of Ms. Hoffman's last 6th grade class at T.C Walker. She had a great impact on my school career. She taught students to give more than what they thought they had. Her smile was a blessing and very encouraging. I have a hearing loss and wore hearing aids. She never once treated me differently but yet pushed me to do my best. I now teach for Gloucester County and have two young children of my own. I hope that I can teach them half of what you taught me. So I thank you, Ms. Hoffman. I thank you for teaching me to be loving, sincere, thoughtful, detetermined, and to never give up. Your smile will be forever sketched in my heart.
