My condolences to Gwen and family After viewing the pictures of Shirley my best of friend and like a mother to me made me so sad but knowing that she is in better hands and not suffering makes me feel a whole lot better, im also so glad that Gwen and Shirley made a trip to Texas to visit me. Thank you my friend Shirley for being there for me for many years...May you Rest in Peace ....Love you Nancy and Family

I worked with Shirley for many years and there is no one I have known since that had such a big heart. She was just a beautiful person inside and out and it was an honor to have called her friend. My prayers go out to the family. Shirley will be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Burks as I always knew her as was a kind gentle lady who never judged anyone.
She was always my second-mom in life.
I know that Gwen, Harvey and Eric will miss her , just look around remember her goodness and she will always be with you. I love you all.
