Ada SAVORY Obituary
She was preceded in death by a son, Tyrone Christian; three sisters, Verley James, Julia Fields and Virginia Silver; and two brothers, Alfonso Pearson and Rudolf Pearson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons, Robert A. Christian Jr. and wife, Shirley, Fulton Christian, and Morgan Christian and wife, Evelyn; her daughters, Michelle C. Walker and husband, Marlon, and Gina Hariston; seven grandchildren, Wade, Satina, Charles, Adele, Robert, Robin, and Mariah; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Bernita Roberts of Enfield, N.C., and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends are encouraged to visit www.parklawn-woodfh.com to share memories and words of condolence with the family.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 3, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Ada's life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, at the First Baptist Church East End, 3000 Jefferson Ave. in Newport News. Interment will follow at Hampton-Veterans Memorial Gardens.

To my Great GrandMa, I didnt get the chance to visit that much, but it was always nice to talk with you on the phone. Thank you for your calls on my birthdays. I missed your call this birthday, I guess you were getting prepared to meet Jesus because you left 2 days after. Daddy always reminds me and shows pictures of you.
