Randolph, Graham, Alison, Anne, Bessie, and Mary B., I just want you all to know how sorry I am to hear of the loss of your mom. So many of my childhood memories include your mom and dad and all of you. From swimming, riding Sundown and Traveler, playing in the back pasture, sledding, ice skating, hayrides, etc., etc., your mom and dad were always there to welcome all. I can still hear the bell ringing!! I know you all have many wonderful memories, I am hoping that they will help you get through this difficult time. Mom and dad wanted you to know that they just found out, they were visiting Jack in Florida at the time. They are so sorry that they couldn't be at the visitation and funeral. Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Love to all, Martha Liberty Cyr

Mom,it's been several weeks since you passed away. We all miss your gentle spirit, humor, and your inner strength. You were the most unselfish person I have ever known. You have kissed and bandaged more than your share of hurts and sorrows. You were always there for us when needed, and were a wonderful listener. My heartache is only relived by the thought of you at peace in the loving arms of Jesus.
Until we meet again, love always,
Alison

My prayer for you and your family is that God will bind up your broken hearts, wipe away your tears and that you may be comforted in knowing that you are loved with an everlasting love and that she still lives in your hearts.

Allison, Tony, Ann, Brian...
The sad death of your Mom arrived in yesterday's paper and I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear it. No expression of sympathy can help much right now, but I had to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you each and the rest of your family. You have my deepest sympathy.

Mom, We will all miss you very much. Alice was called Mom by alot of people, not only her children, but all the friends of her six kids that grew up knowing her. She welcomed them all into her home no matter where it was. She made hot chocolate for all of the ones who skated on the pond and for all who took sled rides in the back pasture on the back of the tractor with Mr. Scott driving and laughing all the way. She always had a kind word for everyone's path she ever crossed. She treated me just like one of her own sons even before I married her Daughter Anne. I too was a transplanted Yankee like her and being so far away from my folks she and Mr. Scott made me feel right at home. I will always have very fond memories of knowing this wonderful lady who I called Mom and my boys will know that Grandma loved them too.

My deepest condolences to the family. Mrs. Scott was a wonderful and loving person whom made me laugh every time I visited. She made me feel very welcome in her home, and I am greatful to have been able to know her and spend time with her.
