Alma Kinsey Obituary

SUFFOLK - Alma Pearl Richardson Kinsey, 82, of Suffolk, Va., passed away on Nov. 10, 2009.
A native of Smithfield, Va., she was the daughter of the late Vernon S. Richardson and Alma Pearl Stevens. She was also preceded in death by her husband Edward 'Eddie' John Kinsey Sr.; and her son, David Arthur Kinsey.
Pearl retired after a career as a Legal Secretary for the Suffolk Commonwealth Attorney's office. She was a lifelong member of Suffolk Christian Church.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Edward John Kinsey Jr. (Ginnie) of Suffolk, and Dr. Robert Henry Kinsey IV (Deanne) of Danville, Pa.; and six grandchildren; and her brother and sister-in-law, George S. Richardson (Mae) of Pittsburgh, Pa.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, with the Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family on Thursday evening from 7 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home for visitation and other times at John and Ginnie Kinsey's residence.
Memorial donations may be made to Suffolk Christian Church, 216 North Main Street, Suffolk, VA 23434.
