To the Family,
Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. Alvin was not ours to keep, but loaned to us for a season by God to touch and enlighten the lives of family and friends. God sent his angels to bring him home, so hold on to God's unchanging hands. He will see you through your dark nights, lonely days and the times when you need a friend, brother, father or son.

To all of the Harrold family: May God bless you during this time. Alvin will always have a place in my heart as he is the father of my two loving sons, Andre and Bryan and the grandfather of Dion and Jade Harrold. We loved you but God loved you better.

To my dearest Aunt and family there in Va. Glory to GOD for he gave and he brings back all that is his. I am so sorry that i cannot join you in this homegoing service for your son, and my cousin, for prior job comments. But I do want to share your lost and send some comfortable words in this time of lost. It is such a great feeling to know your involvement in CHRIST, to know you accept GOD'S work no matter what.- Hold on to his unchanging hands and in the midnight hour we rather have JESUS than anything. Aunt Alease I love you and the family and may GOD bless you all.

I speak to your spirit Alvin. You have left so many wonderful memories for us the family and for all the other hearts that you have touched. You had a warm, kind and caring spirit. On the night preceding your homegoing, I whispered to you that I would see you in the morning, if not on this side, on the other side. We are saddened to see you go, but now you are free and resting in the arms of Jesus where there is such peace, happiness and unspeakable joy. 1 Thessalonians 3:9 says "How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy that we feel before our God because of you?" I will hold the memories of you in my heart until we meet again. Love you.
