Alzina JOHNSON Obituary

SMITHFIELD - Alzina Johnson, passed away peacefully at home, Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010.
She had been a Smithfield resident 20 years. Alzina was a parishioner at Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
A beloved wife, mother, and sister, Alzina is survived by her husband of 66 years, Holbrook Johnson; her son, Comrett C. Johnson and his wife, Mila, of Newport News; three sisters and a brother.
Family and friends will gather for a Rosary service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, in Colonial Funeral Home, with visitation continuing until 8 p.m. The Rosary will be recited by the Rev. Fr. Piotr Balkowski. Burial will be private.

Holbrook and Comrett,
We are so going to miss Alzina! I loved coming there to sit and visit with her during the past few months. Her spunk, spirit and sweetness will be greatly missed in the neighborhood. She was truly special. We love you and will be here if you need us at any time.
