Andrew PATTON Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Andrew Jackson Patton (Jack), 85, died Dec. 4, 2009. He was born in War, W.Va., and a member of Walnut Hills Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Rae Patton.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Reese and husband Jim of Williamsburg; son, Cornell Patton wife, Melissa of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and four grandchildren, Jamie, Bryan, Zachary and Olivia. He is also survived by his best friend, Jim Viands of Williamsburg. He will be missed deeply by his friends and church family.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 8, 2009, at Bucktrout of Williamsburg Chapel. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, at Bucktrout of Williamsburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice House of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, VA 23188.

My grandfather Jim Viands is missing Jack soo much! We're happy that he and my gramp got to meet each other and become best friends. Thank you for sharing Jack with my grandfather.
