Anna BATCHA Obituary

POQUOSON - Anna Batcha of Poquoson, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2010. She was born on Dec. 22, 1920.
Anna attended St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Yorktown.
Anna was preceded in death by her son, Joseph; her five sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Joseph A. Batcha; her son, Gene and his wife, Linda; her three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, at Weymouth Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church.

I am so sorry to hear of Grandma Batcha's passing. It came as quite a shock, as it did for most of us. I wish my condolences to everyone, but especially to Grandpa Batcha, Uncle Gene and Aunt Linda, Jason and Jen, and Paul. I love you all. Chris Nolen
