Anna SMITH Obituary
She was a native of Warrenton, N.C., and had been a resident of the Peninsula for 49 years.
Mrs. Smith was employed with the Newport News City School System for 10 years. Her favorite thing was to be a mother to her three children and a grandmother to her six grandchildren; she loved animals and flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hudson Smith Jr.; mother, Anna Mae; and father, Thomas D. Frazier.
Survivors include two daughters, Anna Lynnette Edenton and her husband, Gary of Spotsylvania, and Melissa Smith of Newport News; son, Hudson David Smith of Newport News; sister, Betty Frayser and her husband, Bobby of Newport News; and a brother, David Frazier and his wife, Linde of Hampton.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 27, at Peninsula Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. also on Friday, at Peninsula Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

to hear about Dale. We will always
remember the good times and what a great person she is. We all know that she is with your mom now and that is a blessing within its self. I have always loved your family and share your loss.
