April Knigge Obituary
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, VA. A Mass of Resurrection will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at the Church of the Ascension, 4853 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA, with Father James E. Parke officiating. The burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

I met April through some friends in 1992 here in Virginia Beach. She was always a bright cheerful young woman. I lost contact with her after she got married but thought of her smile often and ironically she was on my mind recently and I couldn't figure out why. I am so sorry to hear the news but I know she has been called for a reason. God has you in the palm of his hand April. My deepest sympathy to April's family.

I knew April as a young girl, she was caring, fun loving child, and very close to my children. I know she will be missed by her friends and family.
