Arthur WILSON Obituary
Arthur Lee (Buck) Wilson was born Oct. 4, 1940, to the Evelyn and McCoy Wilson, in Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Va. Our beloved brother was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Modella Wilson Brown; brother, Ernest Wilson Sr.; two sons, Kenny Wilson and Abdula McClain.
He leaves behind to mourn and cherish his memory his lovely wife, Shirley Wilson; two daughters, Modella and Cynthia Wilson; two sons, Christopher Wilson of Newport News, and Edward Wilson of Richmond, Va.; one brother, Leroy Wilson of Philadelphia; one sister, Linda Wilson of Newport News; one stepson, Matthew Jackson of Newport News; three stepdaughters, Shirley, Marie and Kiesha, all of Newport News; and a very special cousin, Lia Rae; a very special friend, Lonnie Conley; 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, all of Newport News. There are also a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends that he loved. We will miss him dearly and will keep him in our hearts.
A viewing will be held from noon to 5 p.m. today, June 13, 2010, at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2010, at the Chapel of the M.E. Fisher Funeral Home, 2117 Madison Ave., NN, VA. Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens. Services of celebration and remembrance are entrusted to the M.E.
