Dennis and Carolyn, I just found out about your Moms death today. I was shocked. Louise called and told me. We would have come to family nite if we had known. I often think of the days when Mom would bring us to your house to visit. We had some very good times. Your Aunt Jenny, Homer your Mom and Dad and my Parents were such good friends. May God Bless and help you in this time of sorrow. Love Dotty

Mama, not a day goes by that I dont go to the phone to call you to tell you something that happened or something that was funny. I use to love to hear you laugh and I tried to make you laugh everyday. My heart is broken but I know that you are in heaven with all your friends and loved ones. God is helping me with the pain and tears but I will love you and miss you forever and ever, just like Daddy. I want you to dance for me in heaven. I also have the confort in knowing that I have another Angel watching over me and my family. I love you so much and I feel that I didnt't get to spend as much time with you as I should because of my leg but I know you will never be alone anymore and that means so much to me. I just wanted to let you know that Mya said her own name yesterday but it came out as Yaya, thats close enough for me. I dont know what I would do without her especially now. Mama, I know you knew that I loved you with all my heart and I would do anything for you. Please Pray for us down here until we can be with you again. I dont know what i will do without you, you were my life for 63 years. You were the BEST Mama anyone could ever have and God blessed our family with you. All my Love Mama.

"Chris" well i don't know even where to begin. you were just an amazing granny to all of us and even to people who weren't your family. i will always remember you, and i will always love you. Its hard knowing you wont be able to see my kids, but don't think they wont hear stories about you. seeing you there in the hospital bed i didn't know what to do, it took me back to when you would cook dumplings and slip me candy when mom wasn't looking. and most of all Easter time when we would go egg hunting. you were always fun to be around and always had time for someone who needed you. i wish i could have been there for you more and visited you more than i did and i'm sorry for that. i miss you very much. save a place for me up there, because ill see you one day. i love you granny. Dear Granny, I can't believe you are gone. I know you are in a much better place. I helped mom take care of you while you were at our house, I know that you know that. You took care of me for basically 19 years, and it was my turn to take care of you. I am so glad I got to tell you "I love you" at the hospital, and I got to hear you say it back to me. You are now reunited with Paw Paw, the love of your life. Please tell him I love him for me. I know you would be so proud of me that I helped mom take care of you and how I was such a great help to everyone. I have to stay strong for mom because she is taking your passing away the hardest. I'm glad you got to see the ring Paw Paw would've wanted me to have before you left. Everytime I look at that ring I will think of you and Paw Paw. You really were the best granny anyone could ever have. I remember when I was little I'd bring some of my Barbies over and we'd play with them in your bed. I remember when I was little how I'd come over and you'd ask me "Who are you today Amber?" and I'd say "Granny I'm Dorothy today, or I'm Belle today." Most of all I remember going to church with you every Sunday until I was about 8 years old. I remember all the nice ladys on the bus. Granny Christmas is going to be so hard this year without you. You always spent Christmas with me , mom, dad, & Colby. I know you'll be with us in our hearts and watching over us like a Guardian Angel. You were such a wonderful lady, Granny. You always had me and my mom laughing at the funny things you'd say. I'm going to miss you so much. You know you were such a wonderful lady because so many people who didn't even get to meet you loved you, like Mom's friends from her work. Everyone who met you loved you, Granny like Dad's sister Aunt Desiree loved you. I wish you could see me on my wedding day, well I say "I wish" because I wish I could see YOU on my wedding day, but I know you'll be looking down on me on that special day years from now. You made me and Mom laugh so hard on Thanksgiving when Seth (Zeth as you liked to call him) gave me my Diamond ring, and you said "That's an engagement ring." Although it isn't. You told Mom "Now I've seen a lot of rings in my time, and THAT'S an engagement ring." I love you, Granny with all of my heart. And someday we will be together again.
