Thoughts and prayers are with you on the loss of Betsy. My husband, Ralph, worked with Betsy and Howard at Langley AFB. We enjoyed dinners with them and playing bridge. Betsy's Party Chicken will always remain a favorite with me.

Betsy had called me several weeks ago which was a wonderful surprise. I was saddened at that time to learn of her failing health. I'm only sorry that I didn't take time to visit with her prior to her passing. She was a lovely lady with a wonderful sense of humor, and she loved her family so very much.

I am very saddened to hear of Bessie's passing. I know she preferred 'Betsy" but I remember her from NNHS as Bessie. A good friend. Wish I could have stayed in closer touch. She was a great person.

I am very saddened to hear of Betsy's death. She was a wonderfully caring person and loyal friend to many. She and my father, Howard Mills, were very much in love and had many joyfilled years together. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

I am very sad to learn that Betsy is no longer with us.

I really got to know Betsy when she served as our Recording Secretary for the Hellenic Woman's Penelope Society. She wanted always to do a good job.

I know that family was very important to Betsy and with the birth of her great-granddaughter, she had a new mission, to be with her as much as possible.

I want to extend my heartfelt sympathy to John, Alexis and Helen. The loss of a mother is especially hard.

Paulene, I know how much Betsy loved you. I never had a sister, but if I had I would have wanted one like Betsy.

May her memory be eternal.

Sadly,

Joanie Michalos

I am shocked and very sad to hear of Betsy's death. She & Howard were very dear and special friends to me, when I began my first job at Langley AFB. Betsy & I have kept in touch for over 30 yrs, since my husband & I moved to WI. I will always remember her for her deep love and commitment to her family.
