My condolences to the family. My brother Greg and I grew up on Ferguson Avenue in Hilton, across the street from the Stricklands..oh what a great childhood we had! I'll always remember Betty's smiling face and laughter and as a child I thought she looked like a beautiful movie star. I feel blessed to have her as one of my memories! Blessings to all.

I knew Betty Anne in 1947 when I was a summer intern at the C&O in Newport News. She was a lovely person, and I wish that I had been able to meet with her again. My condolences to the family. I wish that I could attend the funeral, but it would be most difficult for me due to infirmity. In sympathy, Daniel E. Bray, Jr.

I will always remember Betty Anne as a sweet and lovely person and my dear neighbor. In the last few years, we didn't see a lot of each other, but I can't imagine how I will look over her way (her house) ... and she not being there... But she will be in a better place!

Our love,
the Wilsons, John, Delores and J.P.
