Carolyn, Christine & Robert
I had the honor of working for Ed in his law office on Fox Hill Road. He was a very pleasant, honest and honorable gentleman. He always put faith and family first. He was still the same wonderful, down-to-earth friend even after he became a judge. I could not believe it when I heard he passed away. He was taken too soon and will be forever missed. I hope your fond memories and the love of family and friends will help to comfort you in the coming months.

Carolyn, Christine, Robert and the entire Knight family. Ed is in a better place and I'm sure we will all remember him in the best light. "A Place Upon the Green" is a reflection of Ed love for the game of golf. I'm sure he has a tee time with four of his old golf buddies. I hope he hits every green in regulation and few hole in ones. To Robert and the entire Knight family, I extend my thoughts and prayers for the loss of a fine individual. I knew him best as a parent who cared about his children and stived to make them the best that they could be.There are many areas of our community who will feel his loss.

May God bless your entire family during this experience. Mr. Knight was a first class person and judge who loved his family. It was my pleasure to know him. God bless.

I had the privilege of knowing Ed at CNC. I,too, was a 1963 graduate. He was a great assest to our small group of students in the gray beginnings of the College.
He obviously went on to great acheivements. I am so sorry to learn of his passing. Judene Branch Hartless, Suffolk, VA
