Carol KISIELEWSKI Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Carol Ann Kisielewski, 64, of Williamsburg, passed away suddenly on Oct. 17, 2010.
A lover of life, she was a beloved wife, mother, stepmother, sister, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard, of 33 years; her son, Dennis (Josephine Tropea) Trammell Jr.; her daughter, Cynthia (Scott) Abernethy; stepsons, Alan and Dennis Kisielewski; stepdaughters, Mel (Shaun) Davidson and Celeste Kisielewski; and loving sister, Mary Ellen Snyder. She was also a devoted grandmother to Lauren, Samantha, and Logan Abernethy and Grace and Jesse Davidson. She will also be greatly missed by her companions, Aby, Lilly and Emma.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Deischl Lewis and father, Minor Robinson.
Carol was born in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Wheaton, Md. She was a graduate of Wheaton HS. Following graduation, she began working at the Food and Drug Administration. She was married to Dennis Trammell Sr. and later divorced after the birth of her two children. Carol and her kids moved to Columbia, Md., in 1975. Carol met her soul mate, Dick, and they were wed in 1977 and moved to a house in Columbia, Md. Carol retired from the government in 1993 to spend time with her first grandchild, Lauren. She later worked at Crafts Plus as a floral arranger and designer. Her skill and love for crafts eventually led her to her own business as "Margaret and Me."
In 2004, the couple retired to their favorite vacationing spot, Williamsburg, Va. She worked for a brief while at Busch Gardens in the country of Ireland in a job she loved.
Carol will be remembered at a funeral Mass at St. Catharine Laboure in Wheaton, Md., and interned at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Aspen Hill, Md., on Wednesday, Nov. 10.
