Carven J. MOORE Obituary
HAMPTON - Carven J. Moore, of Hampton, Va., entered into eternal rest on June 11, 2012.
Carven better known to most as "C-Moe," was born in North Carolina, May 30, 1949, to George Jr. Moore, and Helen G. Moore Winder.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Ellie Smith, and one nephew, Willie Smith Jr.
Carven served his country in the United States Army. He also attended Hampton City Schools, and Thomas Nelson Community College. Mr. Moore worked for the Hampton City School System for many years.
Carven leaves behind two daughters, Monique and Angelia Moore; and one grandson, D'Mario Z. Maccutcheon. He's also survived by his mother, Helen M. Winder; six sisters, Linda Artis (James), Mary Artis (Douglas), Velma Kemp, Nancy Kemp (Owen), Helen Moore, Catherine Moore; a very special friend, Samantha Peterson; and a host of nieces nephew relatives and friends. He is survived also by four uncles, Robert C. Moore, Billy V. Moore(Margaret), Bobby Earl Moore, and James Whitefield(Ann).
Mr. Moore was baptized at First Baptist Church Hampton, Va., at a very early age. To all who knew him, he will be greatly missed.
A viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012, and services will be held at noon, Monday, June 18, 2012, both at the funeral home.
