Charles GRIFFIS Obituary

SHENANDOAH - Charles Harrison Griffis passed away on April 11, 2010.
He was born in Stafford County, Va., on July 3, 1921. Mr. Griffis retired from Newport News Shipbuilding in 1983. Charles was a member of Grove Hill United Methodist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory a wife of 61 years, Ruth; and a son, David.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Rest Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Ellen Martin officiating.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Shenandoah Rescue Squad, 544 4th Street, Shenandoah, VA 22849.

Please know that my thought and prayer are with you during this hard time.Charles was a very good person he always had a smile on his face. I remember all the good times at the house with you'll running around the yard.He will greatly be missed and loved by all.
