He is survived by his parents; and sister, McCarron Paige Ellis; brother, Gavin Wynneslow Ellis of Wake Forest; maternal grandmother, Cynthia Rogers Simons of Fountain, N.C.; paternal grandmother, Patrese Frances Hall and Richard Hall of Hampton, Va.; maternal grandfather, Freddie Cephas Simons of Durham, N.C.; paternal grandfather, Tyrone Olvin Ellis and Marva Ellis of Suffolk, Va.; maternal great-grandparents, H. Fred Simons and Alice Simons of Winfall, N.C.; paternal great-grandparents, Bertharine S. Francis of Newport News, Va.; aunt, Cynthia Simons Leonard of Wake Forest, N.C.; uncle, Craig L. Simons and Edwina J. Simons of Wake Forest; and a host of cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather, Floyd Wynneslow Francis of Newport News, Va.
