Christopher GERDIN Obituary
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Gerdin; and son, Christopher John Garret-Gerdin.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Collison; mother, Jeanne Gerdin; sister, Judy Moore; three brothers, Marlon Gerdin, Michael Begley, and Jim Begley; along with numerous extended family members.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday April 20, 2010, at the Williamsburg Unitarian Universalist Church, 3051 Ironbound Rd., Williamsburg, Va., officiated by the Rev. Jennifer Ryu. A reception will follow immediately after the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the Williamsburg Unitarian Universalist Church; or to the VCU Massey Cancer Center Transplant Unit, Development Office, P.O. Box 980214, Richmond, VA 23298-0214, to further advance cancer research.
