Clara FRAZIER Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Mrs. Clara J. Frazier, a lifetime resident of Williamsburg, peacefully entered into eternal rest on April 5, 2010, in Envoy of Williamsburg Convalescent Center.
Her life began Dec. 3, 1921, the daughter of the late Estelle and Raymond James, of York County, Va. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Josiah Frazier; a son, Josiah Jr.; two of her daughters, Clara "Bee Baby" Jones and Francena A. Williams; four sisters and two brothers.
She leaves to cherish her blessed memories, her daughters, Margaret Piggott, Louise Elliott (Charles), Brenda Cowles and Patricia Jones; her sons, Llewllyn, Alexander, Henry (Lucia), Emmett (Regina) and Wardell (Theresa); her adopted son, Marquette "Marty" Crew; her 50 grandchildren; her 103 great-grandchildren; her 60 great-great-grandchildren; her 25 great-great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Georgia James, of Williamsburg; her many nieces and nephews; her three sisters-in-law, Virginia Frazier, Ruby James and Lucille Acree; her three daughters-in-law; her son-in-law; her two special friends, Evelyn Frazier and Martha Wagner; and a host of other loving relatives and many caring friends.
A funeral service, celebrating the life she lived, will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2010, in Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, 233 Barlow Road Williamsburg, Va., with the Rev. Roland Cuffee Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 325 Barlow Road by 12:15 p.m. Friday. Mrs. Frazier may be viewed from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday (tonight) in the funeral home.

To Louise, Chuck,and family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother and grandmother. I have been where you are, so I can guarantee you that it will get better with time.
