Clyde JONES Obituary
Clyde was born Nov. 30, 1958, in Newport News, Va. He graduated from Ferguson High School in 1977. He was employed at Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding for 33 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Rubenia Jones Sr.
Clyde is survived by one brother, William E. Jones Jr. (Rita);, one sister, Betty L. Jones (Paul); three nephews, Rashaud Jones, Kevin Jones, and Jeremy Jones; two nieces, Kimberly Jones and Kelsey Jones; and a host of family and friends.
Viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2010, at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2010, at the funeral chapel. A repast will be held at Cornerstone Worship Center, located at 55 Tidemill Lane Hampton, Va.

Uncle Mann was my favorite uncle he would call our house before we got married and say "Tyler weres nephew" and i would say something smart and we would laugh and laugh...Uncle Mann was the one that 90% of the time knew how to calm any situation...I know that Kevin will have a hard time getting over this because to him Uncle Mann was not only his uncle he was his best friend and confidant...My prayers go out to Kevin and the rest of the Jones family...
