Craig BRYANT Obituary

RALEIGH, N.C. - Craig Tignor Bryant, 60, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, due to complications following surgery.
Craig was a native of Hampton, Va. He graduated from Christopher Newport University. He had been a resident of Raleigh, N.C., since 1980. He was a gifted artist and had a terrific sense of humor. He loved life, reading, the company of his friends and family, and the water. The best times of his life were spent boating, water skiing, fishing, walking on the beach, and spending time with his friends and relatives in Tidewater, Va., Hatteras, N.C., Raleigh, N.C., and in the southwest.
He was predeceased by his parents, Doris Tignor Bryant and William Pittman Bryant.
Craig is survived by his wife, Elise Cox, to whom he was married for 36 years; his sister, Ann Wilkie and her husband, Bill; and numerous caring family members and friends who will truly miss him.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 17, at Crooks Memorial United Methodist Church, 204 Cook Rd, Yorktown, Va.
