Dear Pam,
I was saddened to hear of your loss. Though I never met your husband, I can assume a great many things, all of them good, simply from the fact that you married him. May your memories of all you meant to each other be of some comfort in this time of mourning.

Dear Pam, Hilary, and Alison,
I am so sorry for your loss and am keeping you in my thoughts. Curt's passing brings back so many memories, especially of our earlier days at NASA. I imagine him now in a lab where the spectrometer never breaks down, happily recording and analyzing data with Professor Rao and others. We will never forget him.

Dear Pam, Hilary, and Alison,
I remember when I first "met" Curtis- my first day at NASA, I was told to temporarily sit at his desk (he was on travel, doing what he loved)! Over the years we had many good discussions about his spectroscopy studies which are so important to all of the remote sensing work we do here at NASA. Long before I met you, I admired the poster of you in his office. He was so proud of you, and spoke at length about each of you. We miss him. We are so sorry for your loss, of husband and father.
