Dallas BENTHALL Obituary

HAMPTON - Dallas M. Benthall, 83, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010.
A native of Suffolk, she had lived most of her life in Hampton where she worked at Fertitta's in Phoebus. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and the Ladies' Auxilliary of the VFW in Phoebus.
She is survived by her husband, Wilton M. Benthall Jr.; two sons, Robert Hamby and his wife, Corrine and Frank Hamby and his wife, Debbie; two daughters, Gloria Addison and her husband, Chuck and Phyllis Call and her husband, Ray; her sister, Ardell Stewart; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three stepchildren, Donna Jean Vaughn, Terry Jean Benthall and William Lee Benthall. She will also be missed by her beloved cat, "Snowball".
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home followed by a funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel conducted by Pastor John Charles. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. Sorry to hear about the death of your mother. You always spoke of her with such love. May God continue to give you and your family comfort and strenth as your mourn the loss of your mother.

To Dallas Family
Today God has a 1ST class lady in heaven to help him. Dallas was allways there with a smile and a helping hand for everyone. When you knew Dallas, You were a member of her family. I will miss her and keep you all in my prays. Love and God Bless Paul.
