Daniel MORGAN Obituary
A resident of Newport News, Danny graduated from Christopher Newport College in 1977. With a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, he went on to work with the YMCA. Danny spent 17 years serving the Hampton Roads Community and was an instrumental part of starting many programs that are still in use today. Most recently, Danny's love for computers lead to a career with Fulcrum IT Services in Norfolk. Danny will be remembered for his honesty, reliability, integrity and genuine care for people. Danny's sincerity and kindness left a lasting impression on anyone blessed to be touched by his generous personality.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Carl Morgan Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Morgan; brother, Stan Morgan; sister, Peggy Mcfatter and her husband, Scott; nephew, Brian Merritt; and nieces, Melissa and Chris Mcfatter. He will be forever loved and missed.
A Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Denbigh Chapel, 12893 Jefferson Avenue, NN 23608. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Dan was a great guy who brought alot of laughs to me and others. He was a part of my life as a young man for many years and I am glad to say I knew him.

I worked with Dan at NEMAIS - I will miss him. I have very fond memories of Dan. We worked well together and he was a good person. He kept me updated on Buffy - The Vampire Slayer - he really liked that show.
