Uncle Dan,
You took me in and me feel as if time had been erased when we were reacquianted many years ago. You have an enormous heart, reaching out to others and doing your best to keep us as the Anderson family close. I am blessed to have gotten to know you, even if just briefly, it may seem. You made sure that I knew the man my father was, your brother, David, and stepped in as a replacement figure for me. I love you and respect your work and commitment to family. I will honor your request to continue to keep the family ties close. Live strong with the Lord and rest now, we will carry on your work here.
Your loving niece,
Catherine Elaine Anderson

Thank you Dan for being the uncle you were to Michael, thanks for the love you always imparted to everybody. To me, you were always such of special person: full of patiency, love and happiness. To me you are somebody who realy loved like Jesus did, always focussing in the good side of what we did, always loving and no judging. You Dan will always live in my heart and Michael's, and the love we can no longer express to you, we'll share it with your precious kids and family.

Today is a cold day in the Dakotas not because of the snow and the wind, but because a GREAT man was laid to rest this day.

God bless each and everyone of you today and the days ahead.

My sympathy and prayers are with Dan's family and his close friends. I only visited with Dan a couple times over the past 18 years that I have known the Bryan family, but I was impressed with Dan's friendly nature, openness and willingness to help his fellow man any way he could. The last time I saw Dan, 4 years ago, my daughter shot a 22 rifle, (Dan's), for the first time. I will miss Dan and believe he's at peace with his Lord and Savior in Heaven.

You were a soft spoken man with a heart as big as life itself. You gave me encouragement and hope when I was down and welcomed me as one of your own. I am thankful for the good times we had spent together and hunting trips and all, just sorry I didn't stay in touch any better than I did.I was glad I got the chance to re-visit with you before you moved on although you were already weakened by your terrible condition. But now you are strong ,healthy and in no more pain and with our savior above. God rest your soul Dan you will surely be missed. Love ya Ken.

Dan Anderson was such a kind friend. When Granddaddy Bryan died, Dan invited our entire family to stay at his home. We all carry a little bit of Dan in our heart. We know Dan is in a better place with the Lord.

We truly admired Dan and his love for Jesus was so real in his life. He was a great person and always had a smile. When he said something in our Sunday School Class, you knew it was going to be good. We will miss Dan.

A pop pop has silver in his hair, and gold in his heart. I will always love and miss my pop pop. My life would have never been what it is if it werent for him. <3

He was a beloved grandfather and great grandfather. We love him deeply and words can not express my sorrow or how much he will be missed. The miles between us are many, but you have always been with me in my thoughts and prayers.I couldn't see you as much as I wanted to, but the times we did share are very dear to me and those memories I will treasure forever.

"If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to Heaven
And bring you home again."

I love you Grandpa.

With love, Dannell Adair Bjurback(Anderson), Matthew, Kaylie and Aiden.
