Daniel JACKSON Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Daniel Jackson Sr. passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 17, 2010.
He was a retired building contractor in the Williamsburg and surrounding areas.
He is survived by his loving wife, Entis Geraldine Jackson; his daughter, Arlene Gill; his sons, Daniel J. Jackson and Melvin D. Jackson; his brother, Douglas Jackson (Deloris); his four grandchildren; his four great-grandchildren; a host of other loving relatives and many caring friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 4002 Ironbound Rd., Williamsburg, with Pastor Bill Butterfield officiating. The family will receive friends and Mr. Jackson may be viewed from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight, at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at 1152 Springfield Rd., by noon on Wednesday.
