David GIRARD Obituary

WARE NECK - David Eugene Girard, 65, passed away at home June 8, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Lillian; his brother, Arthur; and sister, Elizabeth.
He is survived by sisters, Jeanne Smith, Catherine Delaporta, and Cecile Shirely; son, Daniel and wife of Gloucester, and their children, Timothy and Caitlyn; son, Paul and Lori of Linden and their children, Gehrig, Madison, and Cameron; companion of 10 years, Nadine Tatum.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church, 6470 Main Street, Gloucester, Va. He will most recently be remembered for his leadership and dedication to the 'Art League of Gloucester'.
Memorial donations made be made to the Art League of Gloucester Scholarship Fund, C/O Kathleen Driver, 5222 Weaver Lane, Gloucester, VA 23061.
