David RIDENOUR Obituary

VERNON, WIS. - David F. Ridenour, of the Town of Vernon, WIS., unexpectedly died on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, at the age of 47.
He was born on Nov. 29, 1962, a son of Donald and Olive Ridenour. As an accomplished smallbore rifle shooter, David received the honor of a full scholarship to West Virginia University. He was the first person in the U.S. to achieve an NRA Collegiate All American Award in two sports over four consecutive years. David worked as a Software Engineering Manager for Rockwell Automation, where he received an innovation award for his contributions. He married his best friend and the love of his life, Margaret Mutchler on Sept. 16, 2000. Dave enjoyed sailing, scuba diving, traveling and the wildlife that roamed across his yard. He also loved cooking and enjoyed collecting and sharing wine with friends. Dave was very creative and had a knack for understanding and applying technology. Having a heart of gold, Dave had a deep appreciation for the service that military personnel bestow on our country. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his many nieces and nephews. David lived his life to the fullest and shared that with everyone in reach.
He will always be remembered for his giving spirit and the way he spoiled his friends and family beyond their expectations. David will be profoundly missed by his wife, Marge; father, Donald; brother, Mark (Barbara) Ridenour; nieces and nephews, Halley, Brad, Andy, Sierra, J.T., Oliver, Jacob, Sawyer, Paul, David, Huriyyah, Keilana and Grace; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
The memorial service for David will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The visitation will be on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the 12:30 p.m. memorial service, at the funeral home.

Marge,

My deepest sympathies. I was stunned when I received the calls from Don Cairns and Jim Filardo. I am so sorry I was unable to attend Dave's Services today.
So many great memories of you both from an old place called Fritz's on Second and other outings we had as well. Dave was a good man who had many friends and will be missed by us all.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family during this most difficult time.

The Ridenour Family, I lived next door to David and Mark during our high school years and we carpooled together. David made me laugh a lot on our rides to and from school. I am deeply sorry for the loss you are suffering and wish you all the best, my prayers are with each of you.

Dear Don, Marge, Mark and family,

My expressions of sympathy are heartfelt for all of the Ridenour family. My memories are from my babysitting days of David and Mark. What fun we had! I remember when they hid in the linen closet and scared the wits out of me! After Olive died, my memories are of Don, David and Mark spending numerous hours building something, like a television or taking the motor home on numerous trips!! When we bought 4 Bramston, we had to spend countless hours picking out the bb’s from the walls! The boys used it for target practice! Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

Love,

Mary Ogiba-Hales and family
